ABOUT THE ROLE
Howdy future Horizoneer,

We are Horizon. Our behavioural research SaaS enables product, innovation and consumer insights teams to consumer-validate product decisions by uncovering purchase intent of consumers for any product decision or new product development.

Your mission: Grow Horizon by identifying sales opportunities from our ICP targets, showing them how to increase the ROI of their product decisions and win them as new customers.

With this position comes the opportunity to lead and build up the sales department of Horizon and have the chance to create a team around you in future. It can be filled remotely from anywhere in the EU or around the co-working hubs we are establishing in Frankfurt or Berlin.
WHERE YOU'LL ROCK THE SHOW
  • Together with our Co-Founder & CEO you build and execute our prospecting strategy within our target group
  • You win new clients, preferably from ideal customer profiles
  • You manage and optimise the sales funnel for new business, from lead gen to demo, gaining commitment, negotiations with procurement and contract closing
  • You team up with Marketing to generate leads and develop your own strategies for cold outreach to the deal champions of our target group
  • You will shape our sales playbook with your learnings and thus lay the foundations for growth, contributing to building the Sales department at Horizon
  • You participate at trade fairs such as WebSummit and market research specific events together with our Co-Founder & CEO to identify high-potential leads, present Horizon and build relationships
WHAT YOU NEED TO ROCK THE SHOW

  • B2B sales experience: You have worked in positions across the entire deal funnel in B2B software sales with corporate clients prospects, both rocking lead gen as an SDR and closing deals as an Account Executive.
  • Cold outreach experience: You have done cold outreach in the past across all channels, and you’re not shy of classic old-school sales methods.
  • Industry-relevant track record: You can show track record in deal negotiation with teams from corporates in the range of +1,000 employees
  • Empathy: You are an active listener, can understand stakeholder needs and have fun putting yourself in the shoes of decision-makers.
  • HubSpot: You have worked and built stuff in HubSpot to scale, automate and analyse your own sales initiatives.

  • You are an eloquent and proactive communicator.
  • You aim for results.
  • You are native in German and near-natively fluent in English.
