Howdy future Horizoneer,

We are Horizon. Our behavioural research SaaS enables product, innovation and consumer insights teams to consumer-validate product decisions by uncovering purchase intent of consumers for any product decision or new product development.

Your mission: You will build on our current traction and join as a key part of our sales team, focusing on generating pipeline from consumer enterprise companies with 500 to more than 1,000 employees in industries such as food & beverage, insurance, personal care, and home appliances. You will be the first point of contact for potential customers, driving lead generation and building initial relationships. In this role, you will tag-team with our Account Executive and receive coaching from our Co-Founder & CEO. Your contribution will be pivotal in sharpening our sales playbook and excellent results will provide you with the opportunity to advance from SDR to Senior SDR to Account Executive over time.

WHERE YOU'LL ROCK THE SHOW
  • Develop and manage our sales pipeline through cold calling, social media, email outreach, to senior leaders in innovation, market research, product management, and consumer insights at targeted ICP companies.
  • Actively participate in relevant industry events (e.g., Websummit) together with your teammates to connect with ICP prospects and build relationships.
  • Qualify potential opportunities by assessing fit and interest before passing them to the Account Executives for further engagement.
  • Enhance our GTM strategy by leveraging best practices, tools, and data, collaborating closely with our Operations Lead to optimise our outreach and sales processes.
  • Contribute to team growth by sharing insights and learnings from your outreach efforts, helping us continuously refine and improve our approach as a team.
  • Participate in dedicated prospecting days where the CEO, Account Executives, and SDRs meet on-site for a full day of focused outreach, learning from one another and driving collective results.
WHAT YOU NEED TO ROCK THE SHOW
  • ~1 year or more professional experience, preferably in sales, consulting, or other customer-facing roles.
  • Driven and ambitious individual seeking rapid growth in sales.
  • Proactive and initiative-taking, ready to drive results independently.
  • Comfortable with cold calling and stepping out of your comfort zone.
  • Thrive on meeting demo call targets and constantly seek ways to exceed expectations.
  • Team player who goes out of your way to help colleagues succeed.
  • Native-level in German language and fluent in English, comfortable communicating with clients in either language.
  • Tech-savvy with a keen interest in new tools and technologies, curious about innovative approaches to enhance sales strategies and efficiency.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to relevant events for customer acquisition with the sales team.
